South Carolina and UConn are set to meet once again in the Final Four in a rematch of last year’s National Championship game, which resulted in an 82–59 UConn win. For UConn, a win means an opportunity to compete for a second consecutive national championship and their NCAA-record 13th overall.
All eyes will be on sophomore stars Joyce Edwards (19.7 PPG) and Sarah Strong (18.6 PPG), former high school rivals who now lead their respective teams in scoring.
