Connecticut's Tina Charles is on a mission to leave the league better than she found it.

Throughout this season, you may have seen Conneticut’s Tina Charles chirping with a young post player. You may have even seen her tussle, but then you would see her pull them aside after the game and have a conversation and impart some sort of wisdom as they went about their way. This in large part led to her earning WNBA’s Dawn Staley Community Leadership award.The award is a reflection of her commitment to improving the game she loves.
