Tammi Reiss has been hunting for an NCAA Tournament berth since she took over Rhode Island women’s basketball in 2019.

It hasn’t been for a lack of trying.

The Rams finished second in the A-10 in 2022, tied for first in 2023 and have won over 20 games in three of their last four seasons. But they’ve stumbled in the conference tournament, losing out on a chance to go dancing.

With a win over Richmond, the overwhelming A-10 favorite, Reiss and Rhode Island might finally be primed to get over the hump and into March Madness.
