Boy this one had some juice. It was a matchup between the Dream and the only team in the league they haven’t beaten, the Las Vegas Aces. Coming into this contest the question was can the Dream put the friendships and South Carolina Gamecock connections aside and get over the hump with standings and MVP perception at stake for the first time in years. Pregame, the vibe was that they were treating it like another game. No added pressure or hype, just a matchup they wanted to win so they could keep themselves atop the standings and move on to the next game.
