Hey folks! Andrew here.

I often talk with our Ball-Knower’s tier of subscribers that our goal at No Cap Space WBB is to build a reciprocal ecosystem in women’s basketball. There’s plenty of places that do it wonderfully in other places, from Split Zone Duo in the college football world to the entire Le Batard/Meadowlark Media cinematic universe. As women’s hoops gets bigger and bigger, we want to hold true to our values of being a place where fans feel they have a stake in the type of media they’re consuming.

Now, there is a disclaimer to that. Our foundational belief is that chasing the broadest swath of interest and the machinations of the algorithm is a fool’s errand. If we want to create a media outlet that’s built on the type of storytelling we say is missing, then what we cover and how won’t be swayed by the obvious pull of market forces.

Instead, we’re asking you guys to go a layer deeper with us. Maybe it’s Film Study segments, which is a project we’ve been working on for over a year and is high on our 2026 priority list. Or maybe you’d like to see less Watch Guides and more power rankings. Whatever would help you feel like you are getting the most out of your subscription — free, paid or otherwise — now is your time to let us know!

All you have to do is click the button below and you’ll be directed to a quick 10 question survey! We’ve got some cool things in mind for this coming year and are already working towards a few. But without you, our humble Ball-Knowers, who so kindly patronize, read, listen to or watch our work, none of this exists. We want you to feel a sense of ownership of NCS in the way we do. All five of us — Chauny, Greer, Rashard, Tyler and myself — have made a pledge to not take this company public, take on no outside investment and help be a model that Defector Media and other media cooperatives are using to replace an increasingly oligarchic news environment.

Come be a part of that movement with us!
