In a busy NCAA week, the WNBA still gave us plenty to talk about as we head into a possible labor dispute and get ready for what draft eligible stars will stand out in March Madness.
Until people are willing to say the word racism out loud, making vague nods to the ill-behavior of a very large sector of this sports fanbase means nothing. Capitalism is not what is driving people to hear Angel Reese and Dijonai Carrington talk about their value and lose their minds. Say racism. Not calling out what it is at this point is a show of support and any "wow this is insane for them to say" tidbits in post might as well just be support for the people saying the insane things. I'm sick and tired of the places in this space with the power to call it out to get it gone, towing the line because they still want support from racists. It's embarrassing.
