On what will the last Ball Up Top on Substack before we move our newsletter operations over to Beehiiv (shouldn’t affect where or how you listen unless you do so in the app here), we have the full crew together.
Andrew, Chauny, Greer and Tyler discuss all the happenings in a busy week of women’s basketball. The show opens with an examination of Alyssa Thomas’ move to Project B, the various complexities at play and if the idea of the league is even one that is set up to succeed.
The podcast then turns to NCAA women’s basketball and a discussion about some of the early season surprises. With the show being recorded on Tuesday night, the crew reacts to South Carolina’s win over Clemson and some of the other interesting results of the evening. While Tyler gave his full thoughts on UCLA’s win over Oklahoma on Monday in a separate video, talk turns to Aaliyah Chavez, Jazzy Davidson and whether or not past freshman classes have created an unrealistic expectation for the next group coming up.
If you love the show, we’d love and appreciate a five star rating on Apple (or Spotify or wherever else) as well as a kind review if you’ve got the time! We’re also on the road to 6,000 subscribers on YouTube and 4,000 followers on TikTok so if you enjoy our content here, tell a friend to tell a friend to follow us on their preferred platform!
